Thanks to technology, I can now lead wine tastings digitally, which means if you want to host a wine tasting but live in a different state, we can still get together and have a great time – yay!
In fact, I’ve never done this before, although I know several wine consultants who swear by it. I’m looking for some volunteers to be my first guinea pigs! If you want in, click HERE to drop me a line and get it all set up.
But first things first… does it really work? Is it fun? Is it weird that I’m in a different state but my face is popping up in your living room? Let’s explore these questions…
Do Virtual Wine Tastings Really Work?
Why, yes, they do, especially if you have a Smart TV. Using this great technology, I can actually Zoom right onto your living room television screen so I can lead you through a thorough and fun wine tasting.
In this case, the host will receive the wine via Fedex a couple days before the event, and then chill it in time for the guests. I’ll walk everyone through the tasting, and the host will be responsible for pouring which happens to be the BEST part of the job!
Are Virtual Wine Tastings Fun?
Hello – every tasting I do is fun. Does that answer your question? YES!!
But seriously, even though I won’t be there physically, my shimmering personality will still exude into your living room, which means you’ll still get to hear all my fantastic wine jokes and insightful comments 😉
How do Guests Order Wine?
When the hosts’ wine arrives in the mail, she or he will also receive order forms to pass out at the end of the tasting. I’ll ask you (the host) to give me a hand in helping your guests fill out the forms, but I’ll still be available to help choose the best mix. Guest can also order right on our app.
Is it Weird that We’re in Different States but Still Hosting a Party Virtually?
This is a question that only you can answer. I don’t think it’s weird and if you’re a consultant reading my blog, think about this. If you are a California consultant, you could do a tasting for an East Coast friend virtually and then pack your bags and head off to your own local tastings. Two tastings in the same evening, potential double sales and ONE of them you can be in your jammies for!
So there you have it – I am now available for virtual wine tastings! And by the way, I’m definitely offering a special treat (wink, wink!) for the first hosts who schedule a virtual tasting with me on one of my preferred dates. Contact me today to get in on the juicy details and schedule a tasting.
And if you’re reading this post and you’ve participated in a virtual tasting before, drop a line in the comments section and let me know how it went! I’m so curious.
