The only thing (in my humble opinion) that’s better than a cocktail is a wine cocktail, and with the holiday season just around the corner it’s the perfect time to share some of my favorite recipes!
Mulled Wine
Now that the weather is getting chillier, it’s the perfect time to enjoy a traditional staple: mulled wine. I love this recipe for the perfect Halloween treat!
Ingredients
• 1 Bottle of Red Wine (I recommend WineShop at Home Table Red)
• 1 Orange and Zest
• 1/4 Cup(s) Brandy
• 8-10 Cloves
• 2/3 Cup(s) Honey
• 3 Cinnamon Sticks
• 2 Teaspoon(s) Ground Ginger
• 1 Cup(s) Cranberries
• 4 Dried Orange Slices
Directions
Savor the tastes of harvest with this simple recipe. Simmer all ingredients except for the cranberries and dried orange slices for 20-25 minutes. Ladle and serve with cranberries and dried orange slices for a delicious garnish.
Piña Colada Mimosas
Sunday Funday, here you come! Just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean that you can’t have a little tropical fun. The best part is that these mimosas are super easy to whip up – enjoy with the gals!
Ingredients
• 1 Bottle WineShop at Home Semi-Seco
• 1 Cup Sugar
• Pineapple Wedge
• 1 Cup Pineapple Juice
• 1/2 Cup Coconut Rum
• Pineapple Slices
• Maraschino Cherries
Directions
In a small dish, pour sugar. Rim glasses with pineapple wedges then dip in sugar. Pour 1/4 cup pineapple juice and 2 ounces coconut rum into each flute then top with WineShop at Home’s Semi-Seco [LINK: Purchase Page]. Garnish with a pineapple slice and a maraschino cherry and serve.
Ruby Red Wine Sangria Recipe
Try something a little different this winter and give your guests an unexpected treat (after all, grapefruit are in season come January!). If you’re a fan of something just slightly tangy, dare I say even bitter, you’ll love this sangria recipe.

• 1 Cup Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
• Juice from 2 Limes
• ¼ Cup Sugar
Directions
Mix together all ingredients and enjoy!
