When I tell people what I do, I get asked all the time, “Is that one of those businesses where only the people at the top who get in early can make decent money?”
Let’s clear something up right away: in direct sales, there is always opportunity to make money. You can get in super late in the game with a huge company like Mary Kay and be on the very bottom rung of their hierarchy… and still make money.
The great thing about WineShop at Home is that it just happens to be a newer company on the cusp of a big breakthrough, so if you join with us now and stay with us for a few years, chances are you will do very well.
Of course – it all depends on your commitment, the hours you put in, etc.
Just because I want to prove to you that, yes, it is possible to make money in this business even if you’re not a leader at the tippy-top of the company, I’ve wrangled some real-life stories of consultants who have done an incredible job building their business.
Kelly H: A Full-Time WineShop at Home Consultant
Many people start working with WineShop thinking that they want to earn an extra $500-$2000 per month (and by the way, wouldn’t that extra cash go a long way in your life!?). Kelly H was one of these people, but pretty quickly in the game she realized that she wanted to do WineShop full time.
After a period of hard work (often working over her lunch break in her car), Kelly was indeed able to leave her full time job and just work her WineShop consulting business! This turned out to be a huge blessing for Kelly when one of her children really needed her.

Josh: World Traveler and Home Owner
Josh is a member of Kayleen’s team. When they first met, Josh was the Assistant Director of an after school program for kids and he and his partner were living paycheck to paycheck in a small apartment.
Since he started his business, they have traveled to Europe together and (…drumroll please…) they’ve even bought a house! Josh has told me that he never would have been able to create those opportunities if it weren’t for WineShop at Home. The extra money they made through WineShop completely changed their lives. I even spied them in a private cabana at our convention hotel last week. They were REALLY enjoying the lifestyle a successful direct sales business could give them!
